Apparel Group Partners with Dubai Holding to Deliver Impactful Ramadan Giving Through “Gift It Forward” Initiative

Dubai, UAE: Apparel Group, a leading global fashion and lifestyle retail conglomerate, is reinforcing its commitment to corporate social responsibility and sustainability this Ramadan through its participation in Dubai Holding’s Gift It Forward initiative. The collaboration supports mindful giving by repurposing new inventory into meaningful gifts for low-income beneficiaries across Dubai, while promoting responsible consumption and circular economy practices.

As part of the initiative, Apparel Group is contributing clothing, footwear, and essential items from across its brand portfolio, ensuring brand-new surplus inventory is redirected toward social impact. Participating brands include R&B, Tommy Hilfiger, Beverly Hills Polo Club, LC Waikiki, Calvin Klein, Nysaa, Skechers, and Levi’s.

Gift It Forward focuses on transforming surplus inventory into purposeful contributions that support communities in need while reducing environmental impact. Through this initiative, Apparel Group continues to embed sustainability into its retail operations and strengthen its role as a responsible corporate citizen during the Holy Month.

Neeraj Teckchandani, CEO of Apparel Group, said: “Gift It Forward reflects how responsible retail can drive meaningful social impact. By repurposing inventory into thoughtful contributions, we are supporting communities while advancing sustainable, circular practices. This initiative reinforces our commitment to responsible growth and long-term value creation.”

Huda Buhumaid, Group Chief Impact Officer at Dubai Holding, said: “Partnerships are central to the success of Gift It Forward, enabling us to deliver meaningful support to communities across the UAE. Our collaboration with Apparel Group reflects a shared commitment to advancing sustainable consumption, ensuring surplus inventory is repurposed to reach low-income beneficiaries. Over the past two years, Gift It Forward has repurposed more than 440,000 items valued at over AED 21 million, reaching over 26,000 beneficiaries. Together with our partners, we look forward to continuing to support the nation’s vision for a sustainable future.”
